2024 program to come
Every year on July 14, the Vélo Passion Chorges association organizes its mountain bike and electric bike rando, open to all, young and old. From the heights of Chorges to the shores of Lac de Serre-Ponçon, come and enjoy the breathtaking views. For its 28th edition, the organizers are renewing all the routes. This year, 2023, will be all about novelty!
4 mountain bike and ATV loops in a cloverleaf pattern, with a single central feed station, you can do as many routes as you like, tailor-made to suit your mood and motivation! And that's not the only new feature of Serre-Ponçon's flagship mountain bike event: a Gravel course to honor this new discipline. This long and difficult course will not be marked, but the GPS route will be provided after July 10. This means that you can only register online before that date.
New and varied routes
4 mountain bike / VVTAE trails with departures from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Loop 1 "FAMILY": 15km - Ascent + 325m
- Loop 2 "INITIATE" : 18km - Ascent + 600m
- TECHNICAL" Loop 3 : 16km - Ascent + 500m
- Loop 4 "TECHNIQUE" : 18km - Ascent + 600m
- PARCOURS GRAVEL non balisé, tracé gpx : 55km - Dénivelé + 1550m / Diplôme + ravto au Mont Colombis
How do I register?
- On the Vélo Passion Chorges
- By post before July 10, with the adult or supervised child/child registration form and a cheque for the chosen route, payable to Vélo Passion Chorges.
- On site: Chorges elementary school on July 13 from 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. and on July 14 from 6.30 a.m.
Price 2023 including meal on arrival :
- Children under 14 accompanied by a registered adult: €5
- Small course for 8-14 year-olds supervised by a qualified mountain bike instructor and mountain bike and Gravel loops: €18 online / €20 on site
- Non-cyclist meal price: €8

Jo Arnaud Sports - Mountain biking
In the village of Crévoux, at the start of the cycling itineraries, you can hire electrically-assisted bikes. In a picturesque, 100% natural setting, you can climb any altitude, including the famous Parpaillon tunnel at an altitude of 2700m.
MCF MTB School of Réallon and E-Trottinette
Located at 1560 m, the Réallon resort is a veritable balcony overlooking Lake Serre-Ponçon. Our state-qualified MCF instructors will be happy to guide you along the trails through the heart of the mélézin to the breathtaking panorama of the lake.
PELOU VTT Serre-Ponçon
The Serre-Ponçon mountain bike base offers guided electric mountain bike rides, with quality equipment for adults and children. We organise family rides, group rides and training courses - pure pleasure.
